This photo was taken during my visiting to one of my friend's house at hill top (Northern Thailand). most of the houses were built in such a way approx. 2.5m above ground level as of prevention of flood in raining seasons or animals from night falls. while the kitchen oven/cooking was done at catered area (base with a layer of soil) inside this wooden house. Cooking resources are limited sometime.
